This is Steve.  He’s awesome. 🙂

He’ll be hopping on to tell you more about himself and share his thoughts every so often in “Steve Speaks” posts.

Steve is a professor of forest inventory and GIS at a large research university, where he also directs a natural resources assessment center. He is a “map guy” who enjoys hiking, biking, running, and the great outdoors.

Proud father to grown sons Tucker and Dustin, Steve enjoys traveling, good music, and good wine.  He is currently owned and operated by canine Imoh.
